Lode is a privately-funded initiative of tuscon pty ltd, an Australian business focussed on promoting the potential of Australia's 38 universities to address the global skills shortage.
The Lode pilot program was launched in September 2008, targeting business students at three Queensland universities. Lode is set to become Australia's first national database of undergraduate and postgraduate job seekers.
Lode is the second major initiative of tuscon pty ltd. Its first initiative was the iexchange program which has run successfully in Queensland since September 2006.
